Sylvia Kölbl
Biography
Born in Vienna, Austria, study of veterinary medicine, working as virologist and expert for clinical laboratory diagnosis. Retired since 2012. Painting and drawing was her passion from childhood onwards, during professional life break in artistic work, since pension restart of her passion and participation in multiple exhibitions. Her main topic is the multiple beauty of nature, especially all kinds of animals. She tries to show the public what we have to protect instead of abusing and destroying other living beings.
Artist Statement
There are so many simply wonders around us, of which we dont are aware, neglect or even damage them. Human beings are only a tiny part of this world and should open their eyes for all the beauty in their daily life and try to keep it in mind.
