Her works capture an emerging beauty, directly embracing the unpredictable cycles of our environment. Artist Statement

My work is an interplay of the rejuvenating elements of nature and our connection to it. I am guided by a deep curiosity about the subtle nuances of body language and the human form.

Spark of Nature, 2023. Charred wood and ceramic, 120h x 50w cm

Central to my approach is the use of fire. I treat fire not as a destructive force, but as a primary tool for transformation. By exposing raw wood to flame, I alter its character and surface, creating a hardened, protective exterior.

Calming Nature, 2023. Charred wood and ceramic, 160h x 25w cm

This interaction serves as a physical metaphor for structural endurance and internal resilience—demonstrating how true strength can be forged, rather than diminished, by adversity.

Moment of Joy, 2025. Charred wood and ceramic, 160h x 15w cm

Visually, my sculptures exist in a space of abstraction and deliberate ambiguity. Rather than presenting literal representations, I create charred figures that invite viewers to project their own meaning onto the forms.

Roots of Reflection, 2025. Charred wood and ceramic, 70h x 24w cm

Through this unpredictable interplay of material and flame, I suggest that our true geography is built through connection; it is the presence of others that enhances our lives and allows us to forge a sense of place for ourselves and those around us.
