Artist Statement
"I have always been transported by colors, images and sound. After having created the comic-strip characters "Jaune & Vert" (Yellow & Green) published in the 20 Minutes, the largest daily newspaper in French-speaking Switzerland, and in Le Quotidien in Luxembourg, I also felt the need to explore other sides of illustration. A rational side allows me to try to understand the world in which we live. Sensitivity, emotions and feelings bring me images that I try today to transcribe by breaking the codes. My creative approach consists in illustrating worlds where energies, souls, and tangible universes meet. I consider myself a self-taught artist, trying to develop my own techniques. A large part of my paintings contain hidden faces or figures... "
