Biography

Teodosio is a Greek sculptor and shadow artist who creates unique works where the tangible and the intangible merge into one. In his hands, metal, steel, and bronze become forms shaped by light — the invisible made visible.

In his art, he explores the boundary between imagination and reality, matter and spirit. When illuminated, his sculptures reveal hidden images — feminine silhouettes, mythological figures, and symbolic forms — where shadow becomes an extension of the sculpture itself.

Recognized as one of the few contemporary artists working exclusively in shadow sculpture, Teodosio combines geometry, myth, and the philosophy of light. His works have been exhibited internationally, including the London Art Biennale 2025, FedEx “Outside the Box” project (2024), EuropArtFair Amsterdam (2024), and RE:SOURCE eco art exhibition (2023). They belong to private collections and art spaces across the world, inviting viewers to experience how light becomes the final brushstroke of creation.

Artist Statement

My work exists on the boundary between light, shadow, and form. I see myself as a mediator between imagination and reality — transforming metal, steel, and bronze into instruments that shape light itself.

Each sculpture is born twice: first as a physical form, and then as its shadow. Only when illuminated does it reveal its hidden meaning — its soul. The shadow becomes the continuation of matter, a reflection of inner harmony between chaos and order, between the visible and the invisible.

Through my art, I invite the viewer to look deeper — not only with their eyes, but with their perception. My works are a dialogue between light and matter, reality and imagination, where even a single moment of illumination can turn cold metal into living emotion.
