Biography

Caroline Degroiselle was born in Paris and, at a very young age, moved to Nouméa, New Caledonia, on the opposite side of the world from France.

Immersed in the warmth and vibrant colors of her island and its azure lagoon, Caroline draws from this environment her creative energy, joy of life, the luminous quality of her palette, the intensity of her emotions, and the expressive freedom of her gestures.

A self-taught artist, she possesses the charm of a creative freedom that transforms reality. In 1984, Caroline presented her first exhibition to the public in New Caledonia.
