The two most powerful mediums for me have been Raku Sculptural Ceramics and my new technique called “Fluid Dimensions”. Both methods are controlled and spontaneous at the same time. Both are a fine balance of technique and serendipity. It is in the letting go that the work becomes what it is meant to be.
My artistic process is deeply connected with my emotional state, and the balance between free-flowing lyrical painting and structured geometric abstracts reflects this relationship.
Each approach serves its purpose in helping me process and express my emotions. Sometimes the process begins with a burst of unrestrained creativity, followed by moments of refinement and control. Other times, I need the stability of planning and structure.
Sherry is from the Midwest and began painting full time after retiring to Florida. She currently resides in SW Florida and enjoys painting contemporary abstract. Being mostly self taught she passionately paints in a unique way using lots of color and expressive movements!
Her abstract style draws attention to color first then pulls the viewer’s eyes deeper into the art with intuitive movements of paint. Many pieces of her work with heavy texture, colorful paints, sharp lines and marks reveals her Native American ancestry
My current artworks are traditional. oil on canvas. To achieve particular expressions and to show the inner spirit of the object, I stylize forms of nature, humans and objects by simplifying them in my unique way. For the last 10 years, I have aimed at the resemblance by observing all objects and transfer onto canvas by signs.
My journey as a digital artist started as a photographer seeing the world in a different way than most other people. My photographs I was told by some of my fellow photographers were not as perfect as they should be. They looked down at me for not going that extra distance to perfect them. Yet, the world itself is not perfect and so I thought my work was fine.
Anna Jung is an artist and achitect, rooted in Germany but born in Poland. She has been residing near Stuttgart. Her artistic journey began in her early teenage years, where she found joy and passion in recreating art pieces. Her teenage years were further enriched by the tutelage of Polish artist Przemyslaw Tomczak. Anna completed a 2-year drawing course in his studio, where she discovered her skill for pencil drawing, the versatility of composition, light-dark contrasts, perspective and proportion theory.
Lisa Lockett, an American fine art painter, began drawing at the age of five and would later own a design firm that would eventually serve as a catalyst for her art. Lisa uses rich oils and deep layers to convey abstract ideas, moods, and emotions. The bold lighting and dark contrast she gives to her paintings seem to glide off the surface with fine blending and brilliance.
Throughout my journey as an artist, I have experienced significant changes in both my artistic style and approach to my subjects. From my time studying at the Academy of Fine Arts in Katowice, Poland to gaining recognition, my work has evolved gradually over the years.
Dreams allow us to bypass rationality and tap into a deeper, universal language of emotions and symbols. Balancing this fluidity with intellectual and emotional engagement happens naturally when we trust the process. Subconscious imagery often carries its own internal logic, resonating with audiences without the need for explicit explanation.

The day when my consciousness reached the stage where I could consciously perceive feelings, when I understood that each of my works is born. Each one on its own with its own existence. Born, independent of space and time, to then live an existence detached from goal, time, purpose or content. Connected without being methodical. Without any connexion. In no way predictable and always surprisingly different than expected. Stylishness as a stylistic device.
My work contributes to anything connected with contemporary modern art, including anyone inspired by my creativity. I'm an artist who has already been perfectly understood, and I want to reference my name and the art I create as a serious career and legacy. I'm not an artist because I have nothing better to do with my life. I'm an artist because I know precisely what I create and the impact that it could have on the public view and the art world.

My artworks aim to inspire individuals to explore their own emotional landscapes. I believe that art has the power to evoke feelings and provoke thought, encouraging a deeper understanding of oneself. Through my creations, I encourage viewers to embark on a journey of self-discovery and reflection. Therefore, the value of an artwork is primarily created in the mind of the viewer.
I am aware that it is others who decide whether I am an artist or not. And, despite this, I can say that my works are not melodies of an abrupt time that swim in the astonishment of the comprehensible. They are more like clear stories, all complete and different, usually critical of some human abuse or scientifically instructive.
My ambition is to collect joys in the plantations of hopes, to build dreams that shelter against hatreds, and prescribe a smile to the warriors of the impossible. And, against all odds, I am more rational than spiritual and more practical than deluded: what no one would expect from an artisan with aspirations.
Born in France in 1951, I studied life drawing, sculpture, arts history, interior design, painting and was involved in personal creative projects at the National School of Fine Arts in Nantes (South Brittany), greatly influenced by the Bahaus design; for this reason my work is based on abstraction; during my studies I was inspired by Catalan textile artist Grau-Garriga after visiting one of his tapestry exhibitions.
