Biography
I have been creating botanical art since 1992. Originally, I worked in colored pencil, but then switched to watercolour and graphite. My works have appeared in a number of exhibitions in the US, as well as in Australia. They are also included in the Filoli Florilegium and the Gardens of Alcatraz Florilegium.
Artist Statement
In keeping with my passion for heritage plants, I have grown many unusual antique plants in my own garden, including varieties of iris, dahlias, narcissus, and fruit trees. My fascination with botany has also led me to paint a series of species Impatiens, cousins of the more common ones that appear in our nurseries.
