Biography

1979
First exposure to experimental photography and the visual arts at the Schreienesch Project School.
1979–1981
Journeyman’s certificate from the Ulm Chamber of Crafts
Worked in my trained trade and in retail.

Raised my two children; single parent since 1993
2000–2001
Basic training in color, painting, and figure drawing under Professor Nelson Leiva Rivera, a painter from Chile.
2000–2004
Intermediate school leaving certificate and general high school diploma from Gertrud Luckner Vocational High School and Kolping College

2004–2008
Studied philosophy at the University of Freiburg
Main areas of interest: affect transformation, mind-body correlation. The teachings on the soul by Meister Eckhart and Johannes Tauler. Theories of perception. Frederick van Eeden’s logical foundations of communication.
Concurrently, a project on the correlation between music and color, preserved as “Farbklang.” Concurrently, worked in my first profession in retail.
