I also work with resin which requires a lot of patience and skill to either use to bring out the colors in your paintings or form the waves crashing in the background of my pieces, or to form 3-D effects in my art. I learn something everyday through trial and error but when I get it right it’s really amazing.

Artist Statement
My current body of work explores the themes of capturing motion and the delicate balance between control and chaos within abstract expressionism. I primarily work in fluid acrylics, employing vibrant color saturation and the inherent unpredictability of the medium to translate fleeting moments of movement into a tangible visual experience.
Safe Haven, 2021. Acrylic/Resin, 30.48 x 60.96 cm
The creation process is central to the meaning of my art. I employ numerous techniques—, but it is the element of chance that drives the final composition. I utilize a meticulous process of mixing specific ratios of high-flow acrylics and pouring medium, then surrender a degree of control as the paint flows. This methodology allows me to build dynamic cells and organic lacing effects, embracing the delightful surprise of the finished piece.

My motivation stems from the natural world—from tidal shifts wave formation calmness of the deep ocean. I aim to engage viewers by offering a meditative, visceral experience that encourages contemplation of natural processes.
Just Clowning Around, 2023. Acrylic/Resin, 40.64 x 40.64 cm
Through my art, I hope to communicate the beauty of unpredictability and the joyful surprise found in the fluidity of existence, inviting the audience to find their own interpretations within the mesmerizing patterns. Each pour is uniquely different and tells it own story and half the fun discovering what that story is.
