Artist Statement
My practice is about making space — space for transformation, healing, and new perspectives. Working with recycled textiles and embroidery, I create abstract works that evolve slowly and intuitively over time.
FLAWS (2020), acrylics and French knots on upholstery scrap, 76x76
Colour and circular forms play a central role in my work, often reflecting emotional and spiritual states, balance, and continuity. By using discarded materials, I aim to challenge ideas of value and permanence while offering the viewer a moment of pause, softness, and reconnection.
