Artist Statement
My artistic practice moves fluidly between painting and sculpture, guided by a deep curiosity for material, emotion, and transformation. I work across a wide range of expressions — from abstract compositions to poetic portraits — exploring how color, gesture, and form can convey inner movement and human presence.
Between worlds. 2025. Mixed media on wood. 50 x 40 cm.
In my paintings, transparent layers and intuitive brushwork create spaces that oscillate between abstraction and figuration, inviting reflection and emotional resonance. Each work emerges from a balance between control and spontaneity, allowing traces of thought and feeling to surface through color and rhythm.
Blue mood. 2025. Mixed media on canvas. 40 x 50 cm.
My sculptural practice extends this exploration into the physical realm. Working in bronze, ceramic, and concrete, I am drawn to the tactile and expressive possibilities of each material — how weight, surface, and texture can speak to fragility, strength, and transformation.
Erosion. 2025. Sculpture. White concrete on styrofoam. 140 x 160 x 60
Across all media, my work seeks to connect the visible and the invisible — to translate the fleeting, poetic qualities of experience into form. For me, art is both inquiry and expression: a way of shaping the intangible, and of opening a quiet space where perception and emotion meet.
