Artist Statement

My practice explores the cyclical rhythms of nature and their emotional resonance through semi-abstract acrylic paintings. Inspired by the Peak District landscape, I investigate how seasonal shifts affect our perception of time, mood, and memory.

Echoes in the Hills, 2025

My work aims to mirror life’s transitions—highlighting transformation, continuity, and renewal. I'm proud to celebrate being a contemporary artist with paintings in collections all over the world. My artistic practice focuses on the connection between nature's cycles and human emotions, exploring how the changing seasons influence our perceptions of colour, mood, and time.

Mediterranean Memories, 2025

Working primarily with acrylic on canvas, I use a semi-abstract style to interpret nature’s transformations, capturing its energy and constant flux. Nature offers me endless inspiration, not only in its vivid, ever-changing landscapes but also in the subtler details that may go unnoticed.
