Artist Statement

Today I feel the painting is something that was meant to be my way to express what I feel, my emotions, my thinking, my passion, my joy of life.
My motto: Never stop searching for your passion.

What first prompted you to think of becoming an artist?

I never thought I will be an artist. Being confined at or home during the pandemic with my dance classes all cancelled I was searching for something to keep myself active. An online advertisement for home delivery of hobby materials caught my attention. So why not brighten up life with some colours? So I clicked the button.

What kind of an artist do you ultimately see yourself?

An artist expressing my inner souls and emotions with the beauty of the colours to bring some joy to the world.

What are you hoping to communicate to the viewer through your work?

My passion for flowers and what emotions we can express with their help without words.

Can you explain the process of creating your work?

Plant and flowers were important to me all my life. Where ever I have been I still remember something related to flowers. These memories have a deeper meaning by enriching my emotions. Painting is my newfound ability to express my emotions even without words.

What is your favourite part of the creative process?

The smell that is released when mixing, the texture that one feels, the mixing itself, the luminosity of the colours and the process of painting - it is my way of meditation and feels refreshed.

Can you give us an insight into current projects and inspiration, or what we can look forward to from you in the near future?

As a young artist, I am still searching for the uniqueness of my style, which will turn my paintings into signature paintings. This process I consider my current project.
