Wendy Cohen

Biography

Wendy Cohen is a Sydney-based artist who has earned BFA and MFA degrees. She actively exhibits her work, including New York Art Expo, Art Spectrum Miami, and Art San Diego. Wendy has participated three times in The Other Art Fair, Sydney and has been published in various art books. Artist StatementWendy Cohen's art practice depicts energy and movement that rotates with an interplay of various shapes, tones of colour, and light. The viewer is invited to participate in the depth and mystery of the 3D effects created with diverse shapes. As a result, her works are imbued with a sense of curiosity, wonderment, and intrigue that is open to interpretation. Her aim is to create a whimsical vibrant genre that brings to life the shapes, lines and forms interactive in urban and natural environments.
