Biography

Pantelis Georgitsis is a Greek fine art photographer based in Thessaloniki, Greece. His work explores solitude, silence, memory, and the relationship between people and their surroundings through cinematic compositions, natural light, and a minimalist visual language.

Artist Statement

Photography allows me to explore the relationship between people, space, and memory. My work is driven by a fascination with silence, atmosphere, and the emotional weight carried by ordinary places and everyday moments.

Rather than documenting reality, I seek to transform it into visual experiences that encourage reflection and personal interpretation.

Working with natural light, restrained color palettes, and cinematic composition, I move between portraiture, landscape, and stillness, searching for images that feel both intimate and timeless.

I am interested in the tension between presence and absence, where the human body and the surrounding environment become equally important elements of the narrative.
