Marovino's series of works called “Silenziose Grida” (Silent Cries), begun in 2015, consists of small sculptures made of finely worked, smoothed, and polished black marble. Each sculpture is inspired by the flint and obsidian weapons of primitive art, an interest that has also materialized in the collection of black marble jewelry sculptures called “Divinae,” dedicated to movie stars. In 2017, Marovino received the prestigious “Silver International Prize” for his “Bone” pendent in the field of designer jewelry.
