Artist Spotlight - Jimmie Marler
Biography
Jimmie’s paintings and drawings reflect photographic realism. He has taught Art, computers, & mathematics in colleges & high school for 48 years. He taught for Drury University for over 25 years, Southwest Baptist University for 30 years. Jimmie donated over 2,000 artworks to charities. He likes to do religious drawings & paintings, because he feels he has received his multiple talents from God.

Jimmie has over 15,000 drawings & paintings. He has paintings in over 12 museums throughout the world. Jimmie received a great honor when he was inducted into the Dunklin County, Missouri, Library Hall of Fame, on Oct. 21, 2007. He was the Marquis Who's Who Top Artist for 2023.

Jimmie has been accepted to enter two pieces of art in the PAKS museums in Vienna, Austria, Castle Heidenreichstein in lower Austria & in Munich, Germany. Also, his artwork was at the Modern Art Masters in Complex du Louvre Carrousel du Louvre, in Paris, France, in 2022, 2024 and it will be there in 2025.

The two paintings will be in Europe from July 2022 thru Dec 2025. He also will be displaying in the 2nd edition of the Madrid Station Exhibition in March of 2025. His artwork has been featured in many Magazines.

He has also been included it a book that came out in Europe, “Art from Leonardo da Vinci to The Present”. In the book he was featured with 242 other artist including famous artist like Albrecht Durer, Van Gogh, Rembrandt & Leonardo da Vinci.

Local Artist, Teacher and Writer - Jimmie Lee Marler has been honored to be on the cover of the A Marquis Who's Who Magazine "MILLENNIUM Seventeenth Edition". This is where they honor the Legacies of Professionals from around the world. His Bio was Listed in the Magazine. This was a great honor from the 125 year old Marquis Who's Who. The Magazine has over 810 pages.

Artist Statement
I enjoy doing artwork in all mediums, I even wrote a book available on Amazon, about "How To Do Art Projects in 7 Different Mediums" it is a set-by-step approach to doing the mediums.
