Dec 27 Artist Spotlight - Gloria Keh

Biography

Born in 1952, Gloria began painting since childhood. Her late father, an oil painter, Martin Fu, was her first art teacher.

In 2008, she founded Circles of Love, a non profit charity outreach program, using her art in the service to humanity. Since that year, not a penny has been earned from the sales of her many paintings. All monies have been donated to various charities both in Singapore, her home country, as well as internationally.

She has participated in over 200 international exhibitions and won over 30 international awards. As of end 2025, she has staged 16 solo exhibitions in Singapore, Taiwan, South Korea, the Philippines and in Vienna (Austria).

Several of her works have been collected by art museums in South Korea, China, and Armenia.
Gloria lives in Singapore.

Artist Statement

As I approach my 74th year, various happenings have brought about big changes in my art involvements. I now concentrate more on solo exhibitions and have increased time spent on mailart and the making of art books. I prefer solitude, retreating more and more into the silence of my studio.

Art continues to soothe the soul, providing a comforting balm for both mind and body. I am not a religious person but i hope a spiritual being, who makes art. My artworks are my PAINTED PRAYERS.
