The Flotsam Fixation creations are developed initially from driftwood material components, which I gathered those washed upon a Seacoast off Western Canada. I chose specific driftwoods that could visualize as unique components to exist expand ideas beyond simple wood imagery. So, my subject of objects expanded within a variety of other concepts from a diversity of materials, which I attach and imbed onto the driftwood as sculptural artwork. My definition of ideas and theory of imagery intends to connect creatively into the driftwood. My ideas of the work evolve. I devise by locating objects working together often upon the driftwood. I also created components inside wood upon the wall, as well as plinths and other devices within the central component of a gallery. I plan to continue to create the next entire year as an opportunity for full-time art-making. There are: Repurposed material embedded in drift wood (sculpture on wall) AND (Sculpture on a plinth)
