Biography
Philadelphia Late Blooming Artist has decided to focus on different facets of art for spiritual art therapy. Upon learning about intangible learning, the tangible creativity began to show itself in his early to mid-'20s. With only 3 years of experience and self-teaching, landscape art became the priority!
What first prompted you to think of becoming an artist?
What first prompted me to being an artist is in reality pure boredom. One day after work at Chipotle, I had picked up a canvas from Dollar General and the rest is history.
What are you hoping to communicate to the viewer through your work?
What I am hoping to communicate to the viewer is that creation is possible through the healing of self, which became my main method of creating my art (meditation).
What kind of an artist do you ultimately see yourself?
The kind of artist I see my self as is resourceful. I always find a way to get the image I desire, no matter how long or how hard I will work.
Can you explain the process of creating your work?
The process of creation for my work goes:
● Acquisition of Supplies
● Meditation or Tai Chi as a for of relaxation and healing
● Sketching of the image seen in meditation
● Painting and main creation of a masterpiece!
What is your favourite part of the creative process?
My favorite part of the creation process is indeed the meditation and cleansing part of the process. Upon cleansing parts of self that are blocked, our perception clears/changes with how we grow and expand our minds.
Can you give us an insight into current projects and inspiration, or what we can look forward to from you in the near future?
Some insight into a project coming up that correlates with my art is indeed Heal and Paint! Our business thrives on helping others heal by healing ourselves first...hence creating energy of production and connection that lasts lifetimes!
