Marion Gunesch

Biography

Marion Gunesch, born in 1981, is an abstract artist from near Stuttgart, Germany.

She studied educational science in Munich, where she obtained a Master of Arts degree. Marion has always been deeply fascinated by other people and their personal aspirations. After 7 years in her job as a human resource development manager, she became the mother of two little children. During this time, painting, which has been her constant companion since she was a child, captured her with full force. In abstract painting, she has found her way to intuitively express her relationships, life circumstances and particular situations that move her.
She creates her bold abstractions mainly with acrylics and pastels on paper or canvas. These means are ideal for her spontaneous painting style.

Artist Statement

Bringing something beautiful to life, which comes out of my subconscious mind like a miracle, makes me shine. Out of a strong inner urge, I want to repeat this experience over and over again.

While painting, I dynamically and intuitively transfer my inner energy into a bold new abstraction by applying colours in vibrant movements, letting them work together. This approach fulfils me with deep satisfaction and joy.
