Artist Statement

As we navigate the digital landscape of the 21st century, are we more closely aligned with our virtual personas, or our real-life selves?

_My work explores the interplay between the virtual and real domains of contemporary society, examining how they shape the complex identities of individuals in modern times.
My work, which exists as both a fluid "collage" and a "digital file," is a digital image formed by repeatedly connecting and accumulating fragments of black and white contrast.
I consider this a form of coexistence between the physical and digital worlds.
I think that for modern people living in the digital age, the desire to constantly prove their existence meanders aimlessly in the digital world and is frequently exchanged for the inner unconscious as a means of determining a person's attitude in the real world. This is what I refer to as the "law of nihilism where form precedes," and it becomes the subject of my desire to directly reach the clear essence while concealing the ambiguous identity of contemporary people who blend the virtual and real worlds in my work.

So, I pose the following questions. (The questions are about attitude.)
- “Is this real?”
- “What will happen next?”
- “What have I become?”
Whatever the answers are, we cannot help but wonder as we live in a time of transition, where digitalization is becoming a larger part of our daily lives.
