Biography

I studied Fine Art at Art School to which I specialised in photography in the final year of my degree course.  I used photography as a means of expression and have been preocccupied with it ever since.
I am a Fine Art Photographer whom works mainly with a large format view camera.  I use 5x4 colour transparency film and have it scanned on a high-end drum scanner to create high resolution digital files that are then used for exhibition prints.
I have exhibited work widely in various art fairs and and exhibitions in London.

Artist Statement

My work is about a visual exploration of subject matter that I see in nature, whether it is within a seascape, landscape, or even a rural or urbanised  environment. This vision becomes abstracted from its own reality just by the framing of the composition.  My work can be said to depict a sense of scale that is ambiguous and two-dimensional. This depiction of perspective within my compositions, can be said to express uneasiness to the spectator and our current ambivalent connection to nature.
