Biography

I am a Denver based abstract artist, living in the USA for 5 years and originally born in Belarus. When growing up I was watching my brother painting sea landscapes and was learning from his passion lot, this surrounding influenced my vision and future drive to pick up my brush and start painting myself. My art career had started after I moved to the new country and found myself in a new reality that evoked deep feelings in me that I am expressing now with the help of colors. After working in the finance sphere, I have shifted to the art career where I was self-teaching myself as well as working with art curators all over the world to bring the best of my skills on to the canvas.

Artist Statement

The artworks I create are focused on the intuitive painting process, I just let my spirit talk and try not to interrupt it. Finger painting is one of the favourite techniques I have been developing as touching the canvas with my hands brings me closer to my inner self and let my vision flow through my body onto the canvas building a strong energy connection. One of the messages that I deliver is that there is a strong connection between people and nature. The duality of both worlds exists in ourselves; we are able to find inner stars and the true light with the help of transforming energy delivered through my art. My goal is to bring people closer to their essence and evoke the raw energy of the body by perceiving the language of abstract reality and transforming it to the new states that will form the new reality. My art is the invitation to dive into the deep roots of the great beginning, a chance to connect with the true essence of oneself, a whisper to follow the inner wisdom and a call for the raw energy to wake up.

What first prompted you to think of becoming an artist?

When I was a little girl, I remember watching my brother working on oil landscape paintings. At that time, I was impressed with the fact that a person's mind and a hand can create new worlds! I was inspired by him and was studying some basic drawing and painting principles using his book but never actually tried creating anything. The passion found me years later after I moved to the United States. I came from work one day feeling the need or even the urge to pick up a brush and paint something. This is when my journey has begun.

What kind of an artist do you ultimately see yourself?

I see myself as an abstract artist specializing in intuitive art expressing freedom, love and authenticity and tutoring beginner artists how to find an inner voice and develop the ability to trust your soul.  I also combine art and poetry in my works to dive even deeper into the secrets of my soul. I am planning to publish a book in the future to share my vision of the beautiful combination of these two worlds.

What are you hoping to communicate to the viewer through your work?

The main reason I create is to open my soul and express the energy of love that will connect people closer with their essence. The transformative energy my artworks carry is one of the crucial messages. I always ask myself: what do I feel when the art is finished? Does my body respond to it? One of the goals is to share the high level of energy with the audience allowing people to experience a deeper connection with the subconscious level and explore the feelings of joy, pleasure, connection, love and abundance.

Can you explain the process of creating your work?

Each process is very unique. Sometimes I see a combination of colors in my mind that I express on the canvas but the key point for me is to be in the "flow" state. I am practising intuitive painting techniques focusing on feelings I want to express in the moment and then allowing my hands to paint. I usually start with the brush and then use fingers and palms to complete the work. I feel that being able to touch the canvas and paint with fingers brings more freedom and self-realization to the process. I know the art is completed by the feeling of inner smile that can last for a long period of time after the work is done. ☺

What is your favourite part of the creative process?

I have a few favorite moments: the first one is the very beginning when I grab a brush and dance in front of the canvas when adding the first strokes. This is the moment of pure happiness for me. The second moment is when the painting is finished and I take a final look at it followed with the inner smile. I usually write poetry or add description about my art based on the experiences I have had when working on it. This is one of my favorite processes too. Painting is similar to swimming in the deep waters where treasure is born. All I do is dive deep and take the treasure out.

Can you give us an insight into current projects and inspiration, or what we can look forward to from you in the near future?

I am currently working on my new collection dedicated to the nature energy reflecting raw and infinite drive of the earth. There will be an additional collection dedicated to the bond between people and the earth, I strongly believe that we are connected closer than we sometimes think. When I write my poetry, I sometimes feel I just hear the earth talking through me. I am also planning to develop online workshops and courses in the future with the guide to the intuitive painting process and poetry writing that will help people to hear their intuition and inner voice better.
